Victoria Lockie
Principal & Acrobatic Teacher
Victoria trained at The Urdang Academy, gaining a Professional Musical Theatre Diploma. She trained in many dance styles including: Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Street, Contemporary and Hip Hop.
She was also a part of ‘Ombrascura’ Dance Company and was an adjudicator at the
Spotlight Competitions in Brighton. Her credits include: various Music videos, dancer in the Streetdance movie, dancer at the 'Move it' dance exhibition and lead dancer in The Michael Jackson Tribute Show ‘Jackson Live' Tour. Victoria is an Acrobatic Arts Certified Level 2 Teacher and a qualified Lyrical, Contemporary, Jazz & Acro IDA Teacher.
She founded Passion Dance Academy in 2006, and had many successes with the School. Including; 1st Place in Hillingdon’s Hidden Talent, 1st Place in Starpower, 1st Place in the Senior Modern Group category at Maidenhead Dance Festival & 1st Place in the Dance Challenge London Finals. Passion performed two large scale productions at the Beck Theatre. Passion Dance Academy have had many successes at dance festivals including; cup winners for Musicality, most entertaining and highest marks, including pupils winning a summer school scholarship at the Arts Educational School. It has always been Victoria’s dream to spread a passion of dance amongst young people. Victoria has had past students accepted and trained at both The Urdang Academy & Laine Theatre Arts, including one with a full Dada scholarship. Victoria closed the dance school at the end of 2018 to have her daughter and is thrilled to be opening a new Acrobatic Academy!
Amelia Benton
Assistant
Amelia trained at The Orchard Dance Academy since the young age of 3years, studying Ballet, Tap and Modern Dance. She has performed many shows at The Beck Theatre and completed numerous ISTD examinations gaining Distinctions. She had the privilege of performing with the renowned English Youth Ballet with their production of 'Coppeila'. Amelia has also performed in many drama productions, including Peter Pan as a 'lost boy'. She has had the opportunity to contribute to major film productions, including; Mary Poppins Returns, Dumbo, and The Good Lier. Amelia has gained her aerial qualification and teaches Circus skills. Amelia is excited to be sharing her knowledge and assisting at Zig Zag Acrobatic Academy!
Ginnie Freeman
Musical Theatre & Dance Teacher

Ginnie brings a wealth of musical theatre experience to share with the children.
Over the last 25 years she has taught musical theatre, dance and drama to all ages 4 - 18 years.
Her classes help to nurture and develop the children's overall confidence and teach them to participate as a team.
Ginnie has a catalogue of musical theatre roles she has played, as well as Shakespeare and comedy plays.
Her knowledge and sense of fun is shared in the classes to help the children relax and shine. She is excited to be teaching and assisting at Zig Zag Acrobatic Academy!
Cassie Lewis
Assistant
Cassie has been dancing since the age of 4 and has studied ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, acro and production. She was taught by Victoria for many years. She has performed in many shows, festivals and pantomimes, including performing at Disneyland Paris, Alton Towers, Cinderella at the Beck Theatre 2022 and more. She is represented by mellows talent agency. Cassie will be starting her training at the Urdang Academy in September 2024. She is excited to be assisting at Zig Zag Acrobatic Academy!
